The remaining 0.08% of the times, and only if the driver feels, at its sole discretion, that there may be a danger of theft or damage to your order, they will bring back your order to a pick-up location. They will leave a delivery attempt notice on your door so that you know where and when to pick-up your order. You may also call the carrier to request a re-delivery of your order.
If you know you won't be there upon delivery, you may leave a special note to the driver, such as "Hi there! Please leave my package behind the compost can next to the door. Thanks!".
